We've been having a pretty serious heat wave these past couple of days...and the a/c at home just wasn't cutting it. Daddy & I were toying with the idea of driving down to Palm Springs on a whim, but with a baby, whats a whim? So we decided the next best thing was to stay at the Athletic Club in Downtown, LA. What a great idea...we packed up and moved out (for a day). The second your little body hit that big bed, you were sold!
All smiles and babble. Mommy & Daddy got to take a little breather too and hit the sauna & steam room, so nice, all while you napped! Did I mention you loved that bed? Later, we went to a nice dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant, Colori. Mommy even put on a dress! You were such a good girl, you let us enjoy our dinner while you slept away. It was so nice to be able to get out of the house, relax, enjoy a small glass of wine, all with our little family in tow. We slept so good, even you slept through the night. I was little worried that you would have trouble without your bassinet, but you were just fine! The next morning we enjoyed a nice breakfast and were all packed up and ready to go...although those $400 pillows would've been nice as a souvenier!
Did I mention how much you love your hands? You can't get enough of them, you're always munchin away, sometimes I worry you'll make yourself spit up, but so far, so good! I'll be back later tonight to write more about our day! Love you baby! -Mommy
