Little miss giggles!

Hello little miss sunshine, happiest baby on the block, little miss giggles!
Today marks the day you let out your first out loud laugh! You've cooed and smiled before but never a big belly laugh like this! We were playing a game of 'yummy baby' (I pretend to munch on your neck, tummy or cheeks and say mmmm delicious) and you let out this laugh, so I did it again and you laughed again and again! I looked at daddy and we had a moment of disbelief, it was a pretty amazing gift! Daddy grabbed his phone to record it, but by then you were distracted by the phone and tired of playing.
After a good feeding and a 5 minute nap, we went to the bedroom and you watched me brush my hair for 5 minutes. You just lay there watching me not making a peep. I love all these moments, the exciting ones followed by the silent moments of obsevation. I love the bond we have, the moments weve spent together that have brought our closeness. It isn't always easy and I can tell you're going to want to be mommys little helper. You're perfectly content watching me in the kitchen or playing with a sock as I fold the laundry. I can't wait until you're right by my side in the kitchen helping me make breakfast.
Tonight were also transitioning you into your room, you don't even know how sad it makes me. Not only because youre no longer at an arms reach, but because it was only yesterday that you looked like a tiny bundle in your bassinet and now you don't fit! I blink and you're bigger. I guess it means were doing a great job because you're thriving.
