Sleepy Head

Hello sleepyhead! 


Today was a mellow, mellow day. You spent most of the day dozing off in dreamland. If I would've known ahead of time I would've snoozed with you. But I usually think that you'll be waking up right as I'm getting comfy, next time I guess! A tiny milestone is among us. You've starting to sleep without your swaddle, which is great because you used to scare yourself awake with your arms. Not having much control over your limbs isn't fun, but I see you gaining better motor skills! Little by little. We'll be sure to play with you all the time & perfect those kicks & jabs! 

I gave you your nightly bath & you didn't cry at all, you actually gave me a little smile! Thank you for being such a good girl, my little Ella bear! I couldn't ask for a more beautiful baby girl. You amaze me everyday with your wonderful temperament, even in those moments where you fuss, I know it won't last long. I embrace every morning with you, no matter how tired I am, because I realize once I go back to work, I won't get as many. It makes me sad, but I know it won't be forever!
