Growth Spurt Has Sprouted

Hello my little eating machine...what a day! Just put you down to bed, with the sound of the beach keeping you asleep. We had to give you a bath, and thankfully that worked. Not that I don't love your company, but my back is begging for a break! 

                                                                                                                                                                           I was looking back on your pictures today and realized something...your hair has gone missing! Daddy noticed a bald spot forming, oh bother. We'll just have to accessorize with very cute hats, kidding! You're still every bit as beautiful with or without hair in all the proper places

 
You are definitely becoming more alert & aware of your surroundings, and you love to talk. Today grandma T & auntie Yvette came by to see you, and you woke up just in time to get a quick hello. Yvette loves to hold you, even though you're getting so heavy she can only do it for about 10 minutes. I told her to get used to it, because this is only the beginning.  Especially with this growth spurt that is underway. Today all you could think about what eating, eating, eating. Daddy gave you 4 oz. of formula because I just couldn't keep up with the high demand, and an hour later, you were looking for food again! If this is a test of endurance, you gotta let me get my rest Ella bear! Speaking of which, I think i'll try and sneak in some shut eye right about now. Otherwise i'll end up asleep halfway off the couch like this morning, and as appealing as that sounds, its not quite comfortable.  Thank you for another wonderful, happy day. You always light up my life in your own little way, and the greatest thing about it is, you're not even trying. You're just being you, and you I love. -Mommy
