Bathtime is the most fun you have all afternoon. Once I notice you getting fussy and starting to become restless, I set up the warm water, your fleet of rubber duckies and you have a blast! Since you've started standing and becoming more mobile, you refuse to sit for your baths, opting instead to either stand the whole time, holding onto the bathtub or squatting. Its pretty funny to see, but a little unnerving! I am constantly on high alert afraid that you may slip, and we have had a few scares, mostly just you slipping but luckily i'm there to catch you quickly. You like to stay in the tub long past your fingers wrinkling and I sometimes add more warm water to keep you in there just a little longer.
Today we played a fun little game. You have this little habit lately of sticking your little fingers in my mouth, and I playfully bite them and you shriek and laugh. So I guess you had that in mind when you stuffed one of your rubber duckies in my mouth today! You made me laugh, so I shot it out, landing back in the water, and guess what!? You did it again, and again, and again...and you even attempted to place it in your mouth, but you realized that it didn't fit, so again you gave it back to me. Pretty cute and entertaining. I was amazed that you caught on so quickly to the pattern and that you even tried to do it yourself! But then again, poppa and I always say how quick you are and bright! You are already off to bed, so i'm going to try and relax a little before I get myself set up for tomorrow. I usually try and get tomorrow's outfit ready and my bags packed, making sure I didn't forget anything. It makes my mornings a breeze!
