Ella, the holidays have brought us an early gift, you are officially 6 months old! You are so big and thriving. Blink and you might just miss it! The absolute best gift you give me everyday is your sheer excitement at my arrival everyday! You squeal and shoot your little arms out to me from daddy's arms. It makes me so happy! I grab you and spin you around, squeezing you and you just love it. No matter how tired I am or how long my day, it all goes away when I see you and daddy with your big smiles. There's nothing better than my two lovies waiting for me.
You are so vocal these days too, saying dada, Haaa, and babbling non stop with your toys or whoever is around. Your favorites are the remote and our phones. Daddy bought you so many toys not too long ago and you couldn't care less. You want the remote, even if you bonk yourself on the head. Oh Ella how you make us so happy. You splash in the tub, babble in delight and demand more everything.
I can't think of anything I want more than what I already have. It may not always be easy, especially when I have to wake up at 2:30am for work, but my morning motivation is a hot hazelnut coffee and what gets me thru the day is knowing I've got you and daddy to come home to.
