2 Months too Soon

Happy 2 months baby Ella! So much has happened in the short 2 months that we've had you in our lives. Of course, you already existed in my tummy, but having you to hold is much more awesome! 
In the two months we've had you, you have already accomplished so much! You brought tears to Daddy's eyes, made Mommy crazy happy, brought a smile to everyone who has been around you, and filled all the families heart with joy. You're already beginning to hold your head up, you talk so much, you love cooing & saying what sounds like 'agua' which means water in spanish, but I'm sure you knew that! 

Today was Andre's 1st birthday party & you got all dressed up in your beautiful little lavender dress, with matching shorts of course. Mommy put a polka dotted headband on & everyone said you looked too cute! You were such a good girl the whole time we were there. You just love staring at everyone, you don't mind one bit when someone else tries to hold you, but theres one thing you will not stand for, THE BOTTLE! We took 5 ounces of milk for you, but you weren't having but an ounce of it. Luckily you were okay until we got you home, then you really fed! No matter how much I love my special feeding time with you baby Ella, you've really gotta get used to the bottle. As much as Daddy wants to, he just can't provide in that department!

I forgot to mention something that happened the other morning. At 3am you woke up to feed and as I was putting you back down, you were asleep and you started laughing!! Not a subtle laugh, a real laugh! And I gotta admit, at 3am, I got a little scared! Not because you were scary to me, but it was unexpected. And I looked around the dark bedroom to see if Daddy caught it too, but he was fast asleep! I swear I should sleep with a recorder to capture these things, but how am I to know that you'll be cracking up in your sleep at 3am!? Okay my little Ella bear, i'm off to the store to get some water and maybe some juice? Mommy's thirsty!
